LocationTech NZ

February News

Thankfully, with 2020 behind us the LocationTech team is looking to the future. Projects that were delayed last year are moving forward and opportunities abound. We know 2021 is going to be an exciting year!

LocationTech is particularly enthused about the Digital Technologies Industry Transformation Plan (ITP). This is an industry and Government collaboration, created to grow the digital technology sector and provide a long term vision for the technology sector. Currently, action plans are being developed to realise the vision. LocationTech is an important part of this initiative and we will soon invite you to join us.

It is wonderful to see our community growing and we are delighted to welcome two new members. So a warm welcome to Travel Lab, a Centrality venture. Travel Lab is leading the movement for positive change for the entire New Zealand travel industry and their use of Location Technology will support this process. We also welcome the University of Canterbury and look forward to further engaging with academia this year.

Please take the time to review our new members service offerings, you never know how they may complement your own.

This year, we have a full activity schedule, but LocationTech is run by volunteers.  If you would like to contribute to our  community, please consider joining our committee.  If you would like to know more, please contact us.Ngā mihi
