Steven Dirven, Shape Technology

Steven is an active participant in the IOT community with a track record that is both long and strong. Having been involved in telemetry via terrestrial and satellite networks for applications ranging from mass-market residential water metering through to critical services like aircraft tracking, he left his fingerprints in many industries enabled by IoT.

Having built and sold an integrated IoT solutions small business that solved some of the big problems of our time: water, conservation, transportation, safety, and emergency response, Steven can draw on this experience as part of the IoT Alliance Executive Council.

Steven believes strongly in the value and impact of passing on knowledge, “I wish to connect with, and empower, others that are similarly ambitious about creating a better future at the intersection between technology, connectivity, and data.”
